Live From Snack Time (LFST) was founded with a mission to celebrate the unique and unfiltered wisdom of children. The idea originated from Alyssa Tucker, a dedicated educator and child advocate, who was inspired by the humorous, insightful, and often surprisingly profound things children say during their most candid moments. LFST began as a social media project, sharing children’s quotes that resonated with audiences worldwide for their relatability and charm.
As the community grew, LFST evolved into a platform dedicated to fostering curiosity, empathy, and open-mindedness in adults and children alike. Longtime friend and collaborator from Ithaca College Greg Dunbar joined the team early on and LFST entered a new chapter. With its core value of “listening to children with an inquisitive and mindful perspective,” LFST now bridges the gap between education, parenting, and advocacy by sparking meaningful conversations about children’s developing minds.

LFST has launched successful partnerships with Demdaco, Ted Baker, Canva, Lunchables, Disney, and Nickelodeon to name a few.
